Debut album by The Modern Lovers released in August 1976, is a compilation of remixed tracks recorded in 1971 and 1972. The album was produced by John Cale, formerly of the Velvet Underground. Jonathan Richman’s distinctive vocal delivery and lyrics, reminiscent of early Lou Reed, have made this album a cult classic.
