I stay at home
All alone
I’m stranded on my own
In the garden
I hear the birds sing
They’re the warden
of a newborn spring
They seem happy
and without fear
And they fly over the graveyards
without a tear
And i wish i could sing
In that blue sky above
And I wish I had a wing
so i could fly like a dove
I would fly above the ocean
from the east to the west
To the shores of Peru
and rest upon a crest
But I stay at home
All alone
I’m stranded on my own
