The Doors’ second studio album, Strange Days, was released on September 25, 1967. According to author David V. Moskowitz “Strange Days was the one the band itself most appreciated musically and creatively.” The album’s dark and moody atmosphere, combined with its innovative music and poetic lyrics, have made it a timeless classic. It reached number three on the US Billboard 200.
